About KWFL

The Korean Women’s Football League (KWFL) is a non-profit organization founded to bring together Korean women’s football teams across North America, foster meaningful connections, and promote the growth of Korean women’s football in the region.

Formed by passionate players from New York, New Jersey, and Boston, KWFL began as a grassroots initiative — by teams created by women who love the game, coming together to train, compete, and build a supportive community through football.

KWFL envisions a healthy and connected community where Korean women can engage in sports, build intergenerational and regional networks, and empower one another through shared athletic experience. KWFL is committed to creating an inclusive and safe football environment where all players can grow and thrive.

Since launching the inaugural K-Radio Cup in 2023, KWFL has hosted three official annual tournaments: the President’s Cup, Queen’s Cup, and K-Radio Cup, continuing to expand its reach and impact each year.

한인여자축구연맹(Korean Women’s Football Leage, KWFL)은 미주 지역에 거주하는 한인 여성 축구인들이 모여 교류하고, 함께 경기를 치르며, 한인 여성 축구의 저변을 확대하고자 설립된 비영리 단체입니다.

뉴욕, 뉴저지, 보스턴 등 각지에서 축구를 사랑하는 한인 여성들이 자발적으로 팀을 구성하고, 연습하며, 함께 경기할 수 있는 공동체를 만들어가기 위해 연맹이 출범했습니다.

KWFL은 한인 여성들이 스포츠를 통해 건강한 공동체를 이루고, 세대와 지역을 아우르는 네트워크를 구축하는 것을 비전으로 삼고, 모두가 안전하고 즐겁게 참여할 수 있는 축구 문화를 만들어가고자 합니다.

2023년 제1회 K-Radio배 여자축구대회를 시작으로, 매년 President’s Cup, Queen’s Cup, K-Radio Cup 등 공식 대회를 정기적으로 개최하며 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있습니다.
